decal install

I have some decals to install, what should I clean the decal area surface with first? Also do I put the decals in water or just spray soapy water around the decal area?

I clean the area with alcohol. Then peel the decal off spray the sticky side Of the decal with soapy water (not really soapy just a couple of drops) then spray the area with the soapy water.

Adjust decal to the place you want it, push all the bubbles out if any. Get a hair dryer and dry the decal.

BTW don't wash you car for about a week just so the glue has time to stick well to the surface. If you ordered your decals from brent ask him if you can use soapy water he mentioned awhile back some types of the vinyl he uses can't be used with soapy water.
