Debadge or not debadge?

I have a 1998 red Z28 which I just slapped a 98-02 SS spoiler on. I am thinking about debadging it so it doesn't look like a Z28 with an identity crisis. I am definitely not putting SS badges on it, so don't worry about that

What are your opinions? I would post pics but right now I have nonmatching taillights so it looks funky

I would leave them on. For those with the untrained ear and cannot tell the difference between the exhaust note of a v6 and a v8 may think you have a v6 with an identity crisis.

I've got a Z-28 with an SS spoiler, I left my badges on. It's such a common appearance mod now that nobody is going to criticize you for it. You probably didn't think your car had an identity crisis when you put the corvette wheels on you, so why let the spoiler influence you?

I agree. I've got a regular TA with a ram air, but didn't add the WS6 badge. I'm not trying to pose. I just think it looks better. Keep the Z badges

Yeah, Z28 is heritage, show them off proudly. Mine is an 02 pewter Z with an SS hood, RS body kit, Corvette wheels, a "berger panel" and 35th annv. stripes. Everybody likes it and I don't recieve any negative comments.

I did it that way on purpose to pay tribute to all the trim levels, its big brother, and it's last year of existance.

I would definitely keep the badges, cars without any badges makes me think the car was repainted and the badges were never replaced, like some cheap body shops do.

If we're talking about a Subaru WRX STI... that's a lot of badging on the rear... my friend took of the S-U-B-A-R-U and left the other 2 badges, that looks better in my opinion. But the Z28 badge is nice and relatively subtle.

Definitely leave all of them.
