Cool Damn my HIDs look tite

Even though I've had my HIDs for a year now, I'm impressed by them daily. Yet I still crave projectors real bad! I'm so broke right now.

I didn't realize how blue they are until I took the below pictures.

For all who haven't read my website, there's a switch to toggle the blueness on and off. I'm still puzzled how it does this.

Pics:
Blueness on
Blueness off

Info on my HIDs

They kindof look green... Are they shining on a yellow door? Or is it just the picture that made them look like that. My buddie has an Audi with HIDs and they look more purple to me. Like the center of the brightness looks white, but around the edges it looks purple/blue.

The door is white. The yellowness could be from the street and porch lights.

They do look a bit green on the pic but in real life I don't think they're green at all.

I got the HID10M kit.
Here is the description from the website:

"A versatile ballast. A five position switch which can vary the light intensity from regular halogen-like to standard HID 35W mode with 3 fixed setting in between. It also incorporate a 10M drive mode. With this ballast, you not only can vary the intensity, but you can activate the 10M drive mode which increase the reflected bluish hue. With this kits, not only do you get HID, you can now achieve the looks of any OEM HID."

It looks for they sell for $650. That's about what I paid last year.

You paid $650 for some headlights?

For $650 they better be made of gold.

Hey man, they're blue and they're TITE !!

Plus, you can always leave them on outside your house for use as a christmas decortation! All the neighborhood kids will be so impressed with the special blue christmas lights.

But you know what's even Tighter? Keeping my stock "yellow" headlights for free.

I think the HID's are nice. I wouldn't mind a set of them, but not for $400-$700. They look really good on the road. Makes it easier on your eyes at night.
