custom shifter guide plate

Has anybody ever made one of these. Like the ones that are on Ferrari's , and have the guide paths cut into metal instead of the boot.

I have a 96 M6

Thanks,
Greg

Re: custom shifter guide plate

If I had an M6 I would have made one by now...sadly, I have an A4. If I buy an LS1 I may attempt it this summer.

Re: custom shifter guide plate

It has been discussed various times in the past. Basically impossible to make a clean looking piece without some serious custom work on a shift handle. The current console set-up and shifter pattern make it more work than it could ever be worth.
