I have a 1996 camaro ss and my dad knows this painter who does show paint jobs and really nice custom work on motorcycles and cars, he is currently painting my dads 1965 mustang fastback dark blue with white ghost stripes anyway i was thinking of getting something done to my camaro, he also does bodywork. IF anybody has any ideas that would be great. Ok, I am not a Camaro guy, but you got me thinking, I think the ss thing would be cool, but not how you have it, the ss emblem is kinda small and sorta out of place, I wonder how hard it would be to make that piece with the indented Camaro with indented SS...I think that would be cool. Just my $.02

Well... I don't ahve a Camaro but here's what I'm having done nexdt spring if everything goes right...

Repaing the car to the same Flame Red. The entire car will have a White Pearl in the 1st layer of clear. Then I'm having him put Silver Pearl Stripes on the car (To match the silver decals). The White and Silver will both be done with pearl, so as to be "ghost" I believe.

Similar to what you dad's having done. I haven't seen it on any cars around here, and whenever I mention Pearl to the local "crowd" everyone just looks at me strange...

I dont think i want to do flames even though those look pretty good, and if i did go with flames i like ghost flames, i like that SS also somebody else did that with flat black and a old style z28 emblem which looked cool buti think a want to keep the back red but an old style 1969 SS emblem would look good, anybody have any other ideas???

I have another question, could a paint and body guy get rid of the spider cracks on the nose of my car, those really annoy me or would they just come back.
