Custom Mounted CD Player's Faceplate in Sunvisor
This is the "get it working" stage, it will be redone over the summer when I can be outside and work and not freeze my cajones off.
Little background info... I'm installing a 10.5" touchscreen computer in place of my radio bezel... the computer will have my entire database of mp3s, GPS navigation (I get lost often ) DVD-rom, wireless networking, and possibly an OBD-I diagnostic software running off the serial port. Lots of goodies.
To make room for the custom bezel I fiberglassed, it meant moving my CD player. Well, I still wanted functionality and to be able to control the volume, cd player, and tuner easilly. Browsing a few sites, I stumbled across someone that did this... and it was too good to not do it myself.
P.S. - Again, this is just the "get it working" version, so yes I know the glue went through the material and discolored it, and yes I know the cuts are a little rough... take the whole thing in instead of pointing out the little things.
And now, the pics...

I think it will turn out great! Can't wait to see you get your computer up and running and how that will look also. Keep up the good work
