Lightbulb Custom Auto Shifters? Pics please*

I am looking for somthing to do with ym stock Auto shifter in my 95 Z-28. They are the same as the 3rd gen shifters but work better. I'm not looking to go to a hurst or B&M T style...

I bought a carbon fiber/chrome one from pep-boys that go's on with a hex wrench but the little things that hold it in place let go eventually and they gouge the shaft. THey also aren't that great looking. I was looking for some kind of gun-metal or billet aluminum auto shifter with the top button but can't find anything. (everyhting is cheesy and cheap)

Any of you guys have input???

Rksport sells one. Awfully expensive though.

MIne is secured to hap-hasardly that it let go once in an intersection and scared the **** out of me. If they can send men to the moon they can come up with a better way to secure a shifter to a shaft.

I think I've seen the one Calli has at Autozone or Discount Autopart. I'm sure a PepBoys would have it too. Is that the shifter with the l.e.d's at the top of it?

I think those metal ***** look completly out of place in a modern sports car, stick with leather, i wonder if the corvette ones are any different than camaro's. or get a firebird one.

Wait... I got angry with the carbohn fibver shifter and tightened it down right. it's not loose at all any more... I added some locktite (orange stuff) to every thread throughout the whole assmbly. it is threaded at the top and the button assembly can be removed... I spread some locktite on those threads and hand tightened it as hard as I could. then I spread a little on each retainer screw thread set and let it sit for a few minutes. then I put some on the small screw cover threads and the thing is tight now. It looks nice too. I could get the carbon fiber Z-06 climate control and those and it would match the black interior of my car. ( ahh ideas ideas )
