Cragars?
Cragars?
I have seen some pix of what look like Cragar S/S Rims on a 4th Gen Z28. I like that look, but aren't those rims rather heavy for a 4th gen? Are they knock Offs? where could i get some (besides Ebay)? Thanks, Nick

That second link was to Torq Thrust II's with custom center caps...
I personally feel that the TT2's would look better on our 4th gens than the Cragar's would...but maybe I'm just partial...
Link in sig.

The Cragar SS aren't knock off's - they are the original. The TTII's could be be labeled as a knock off of them I suppose.
Also - all the 4th Gen. pics you see are of the new style SS's - the old style was a 2 piece wheel with a different look. Edit - I think the new style came out in 2000?
Just search around on the net for your cheapest places. Weight isn't gonna be much different than stock - they are one piece forged aluminum, so probably lighter.

This lists 17x9 as the biggest they come
EDIT: Unless they are >>This<< wheel, which i didn't see before, that comes in 18x9.5

AWESOME!
Thanks Alot for the opinions guys. I was hoping that i was not the only person out there to wanna do something a little bit different and bring old school rims into the new school arena.
I think They look sweet as hell on the 4th gens. 17's are the way to go and you can get them pretty close to as wide as they make tires for, that helps too.
Thanks Again, Nick
p.s.
If ANYONE finds a good place to get them for cheap let me know! Thanks
