cowl hoods

Hey 95blackTA, Do you ever regret this hood, like I should have gotten one of the ram air hoods? The reason I ask, is I have been torn between the warbird hood and the WS6 hood for my black 94 TA. And since I have seen your hood on your car, I am REALLY beginning to think that is the hood I want on my car. What type of hood is yours? How many inch cowl is it? Thanks and if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost with being painted.

Hey, actaully the hood came on my car. All I can say is I love the hood to death. I feel as if it gets more attention than would a stock WS6 hood. It gives it that mysterious look, like "what the hell does he have under there".
Its 2.5" from ASCD. Im not sure how much the last owner had to get it painted, but he got a really good job done. It's also functional, helps keep the engine cool...you can see the heat coming from the scoop, pretty damn cool.
ALso the Ws6 hood is awsome looking, but if you want to make it functional, you have to buy a whole other Ram Air kit for it, making it more $$.
I love my cowl, I dont think I would like it as much if it was bigger...jes the right size. And if you're short, you'll have a hard time driving the car, it takes up a good bit of your lower view..but I dont have to worry about that, im over 6 foot
If you have more questoins about it, the last owner was mg95ta. Give him a PM, he's a awsome guy, helps me out a bunch!
