I like it better red on red, especially the mirrors, which seem to stick out in black. Same for silver.

good choice, though I personally would have kept the mirrors red.

I agree they do stick out. The paint on my mirrors weren't in the best shape, so I took the easy way out and painted them black.

What did you use and what steps did you do to paint everything? My mirrors are in really bad shape and need to be repainted.

bought DuPont base coat/clear coat paint. Prepped everything. Sprayed it with a gravity fed gun. My step dad used to own a body shop, so he can do anything body repair wise. lol

How did you remove the body moldings, I've been thinking of doing this, on my car they starting to develop black spots on them, its like etched through the paint.

Sharp looking car, my car is the same color.

I actually like body colored roof bars on T-top cars. I think yours looked better before. Just my opinion, though. Hey, where in South Carolina do you live? I'm looking for a painter...

I live in Laurens. My step dad did my painting, he used to own a body shop. He only does work for family now, pretty much. He's thinking about reopening though

I just removed mine yesterday.
Use a heating gun and just peel it off as you heat it up. Then I just rolled the remaining tape off with my fingers, and cleaned the glue off with a rag and this stuff called Nylon Spotter. Looks like nothing was ever there.
