cost for painting hood?

cost for painting hood?
does anyone know from experience about how much it would cost to repaint an SS hood and then paint the hood scoop another color? any help is appreciated

I was contemplating having an SS style hood painted&installed and I was quoted anywhere from 350.00-600.00 from several different shops.
