Thumbs down

That price is absolute rape. I got my springs from Mothers for $210 shipped & for the front springs + shocks, $30 a side from Pep Bastards. This was early 1999 though.

I don't think I'd want a stereo shop doing my suspension either. But if it's your thang, it's your thang.

Actually I'm going to be doing this soon too. Where would be a good place to get them installed (what kind of place)?

Does anyone have pictures from beginning to end of doing this to their car? How hard is it? I would like to try it on my own and here on base we have a lifts and stuff we can use with all the appropriate tools and machines (they actually let us balance our tires ourselves, can you believe that? LOL) and some mechanics to help us out from time to time. Any pics would be appreciated!

My suggestion is, even if your Budwiser powered plans lead you to taking off your own shocks, take the fronts to a suspension shop. The springs are under tremendous pressure. Have them ****** do it.

What is a "suspension shop" per se? I haven't seen one of those around. Are there any national chains that do it?

I think what he is saying is any tire/wheel shop should be able to do it. They usually do more than just tires such as wheel alignment etc.
