Question Corvette LS1 fuel rail cover installation on f-body - What is required?

I did a search on this and didn't come up with much...maybe I missed something.

What is involved in installing Corvette fuel rail covers on an LS1 f-body? Any cutting/rewiring/etc. required or is it s simple installation? Can someone provide some info or is there a step by step page somewhere out there?

Thanks!

I bought a set of the GM Corvette covers, looked at numerous sites, cut them with a dremel tool just like they were in the pictures I seen. Didn't fit, cut some more, still didn't fit. Moved some things a little, still a no go. What a pain, finally I cut more to make it fit, then something else was in the way. Finally I got mad and threw the things in the shed. By the time I cut all the parts that kept hooking up on everything the covers would look like crap. I may go back some day and try again, but wasn't worth my frustration to do it that day. Spent hours doing it and just when I thought I had it cut right another thing got in the way. At first I thought it would be a simple, cut, cut and fit. Wasn't.

I am just TTT this post from way back!

I need a link that will help me cut the fuel rail covers for my 99 TA.
First of all, I ordered a set of 99 Vette covers. They only have one fule line in them. From what I am seeing, I need the one w/ the 2 fuel lines in it? I have seen some TAs w/ the one fuel line in the cover. Which one am I supposed to have?

Does anyone have a link to a site w/ instructions for cutting them to fit correctly?

I have already made it easy and removed the AIR/EGR.

Hope to get some help!

TIA!
