Corvette headlights on a camaro??

I was hanging out with the local corvette club in town this weekend and one guy had the non-pop up clear headlights (has a fan built in). Well I was looking at the structure/design/quality and I absolutely loved it. It looks 99.9% like the fitting I need to put it in my Camaro. Would anyone know if this is possible without doing cutting or do you have to really cut up some stuff? I know if he can put it on his Corvette then its street legal for my camaro. I'll see if I can find his number, call him up, and get some pictures but he said he got it used on corvette.com (I think that was it).

I really have no idea what you are talking about (what it looks like), but I would be willing to bet that you would have to do some cutting to get it to fit. Think about it - this would have been seen done already if it were as easy as 1-2-3. There are too many Camaro's out there, and too many people that hate the lighting. I'm not saying it can't be done, but don't expect it to be easy.

You'll have to snap a pic of it so I can visualize what you are talking about. All i can picture is clear headlight covers on our cars to look like what you are talking about.

It's probably the Breathless Performance light kit.

If you are talking about the Corvette C5R light kit, that is a Hella 90mm kit.

check out the link already posted for breathless performance. the T/A on that site has lights that look identical to the corvette lights I saw. one is like a blue tint style light and the other looks like an ordinary white lense. about 2-3 inches infront of them from the bottom is a fan that comes on.

and the reason I'm asking it b/c it looks like it would be very LITTLE cutting involved, even an idiot could cut this much (thinking of myself here)

1) I would NEVER pay $1,000 for a light kit LMFAO...

2) If that kit needs a FAN to cool itself down, there is something seriously lacking in the design.

3) You could have HID's custom fabricated/integrated for less than $1,000.

Isn't that the same kit seen in these pictures here:

That would be quite interesting to see done. I think you are failing to think about something here...the shape of the Trans Am opening and the Camaro openings aren't the same. You would at least have to custom mold them things in to fit...that's aside from the difference of what's there and what's not. The Trans Am having it's pop up lights is a little different then the Camaro with it's fixed lights. But it's like Paul said, I would never pay $1k for a kit...I could have custom work done for that.

P.S. Hope you didn't mind me posting the pictures Scott.

Question

Now wait a second here...The original question was about putting the non pop-up light kit like that corvette on the camaro. Yes...CAMARO. The camaro doesn't have pop up lights...and doesn't need a kit. Like I said before...all you'd need is clear headlight covers. Right?! Am I missing something here?

I think he might just like the way that the housings on that kit are seamlessly molded, which adds a certain appearance factor. I plan to do something similar once I get around to it.

I think it'd look pretty sweet, but it's just not worth the money for the kit and then to take the extra money and time installing it and just hoping it fits.
