Lightbulb Cool idea..........

Has anyone ever tried to take a C5 window swich (the soft, flush, one piece rubber part) and fit it to the Camaro. The Camaro switches are so bulky and cheap looking. I think the C5 switch would give a little class to the interior. I don't know how different the electronics are but I bet with a little cutting the switch could be made to fit right. Just an idea.

I suppose you could try it. I've thought about it before but with a little bit of mods it should work

OK...I'll make it work. If it's roughly the same size or a little bigger than the hole already in our door, then It'll work. No doubt. As far as the electronics being a little different...it's just wiring. No biggie, right? Can't hurt to try anyways. I'll keep and eye out for a switch set at the junk yard and give it a shot. That way, if it doesn't work, I didn't go put and waste money on buying the part retail.
