It almost looks like it is part of some sort of Testarossa kit, but those are getting so incredibly rare to find, I'm having trouble finding pics without searching my hard drive...




It's pretty similar. I haven't been able to identify who made the 4th gen Testarossa style kit, muchless what it was called.

I'd like to feature it on my 4th gen history site at some point, but it's just impossible to find any details on...

 

On the black Cormaro It doesn't look any different than a regular Camaro other than the flared rear and a LS1(6)? swap.

 

I like the black LT1 with an LS1

 

You can't tell very well in this pic, but the Cormaros (about 20 I suppose) had shortened wheelbases. They were riding on the frame rails designed for the C5 Vettes, and likely had independent rear suspension!!

I like 3000gt's. I wanted a VR4 until I discovered the LT1 camaro.

I noticed the rear parking sensors. where can I get something like that? I am about to put a full wings west kit on my camaro as soon as some student loan refunds come in so I'd like to put some kind of front sensor to keep me from ripping off the front piece on a curb or something.

 

A guy on here named SGFuryZ told me where he got his parking sensors a LONGGGGGG time ago. I still have the PM so I don't lose it.

I found some on ebay. I wonder how well they'd work/hold up if I mounted them in the front air dam.

 

I think that'd be too far away from the front of the car. I wonder if there is somewhere else... hmm... if you don't use a front license plate, there's always that area. I'm not entirely sure how parking sensors work.

 

they have several different kinds, with different numbers of sensors per set. I was looking into the 4 sensor set (2 for the front, 2 for the back). apparently they work off sonar and shoot a wave out and it bounces back to know how close you are to something.

some of the higher end ones have a screen that displays a distance, but I was looking into to audible sensors that beep faster as you get closer to something.
