I posted up a thread about putting a Firebird dash in a Camaro, you might do
a search for that. The replies that I got should apply to you as well.

Correct, if it came with Z rated tires out of the factory then it came with a 150 mph cluster

You can always just swap to the digital 97 style Firebird dash like I did in my 94 Formula. It was easy and only took me 10 minutes. No wire changing, just pull the stock one out and put the new one in.

Yes it'll just plug right in and work fine.

So if I buy a 97 cluster it will bolt right into my 94 with no modifications to the dash or wiring?

No. I'm not even going to begin to explain the differences and why, because a simple search would answer this.

YES.

I don't know what the research is telling anyone else, but I can say that all I had to do was pull out my stock one out of my 94 Formula, and I just pushed in the new one and screwed the dash back together (NO ADAPTERS NEEDED OR SPLICING WIRES), you just plug in the new one just like the old one.

The only thing I had to do was get my mileage notorized and had a company enter the correct mileage into the digital dash.

I have searched about this in the past but was under the assumption that I would have to do the wiring changes listed in this post.

So when I read this post it appeared that I could just install a 97 cluster without changing the wiring. Just thought I would ask.
