Convertible top for LT1?

I have been looking all over the net looking for a new original convertible top. Any help will be appreciated on the wereabout.

Look through some of the sponsers site, i was looking one time and found a black top. What color did you want?

I got the high quality top and rear window for $500 and had it installed for $500 through a local guy.

You paid 500 dollars to get your top installed!

You dont here that down here were I am from. I wouldnt pay more than 200 dollars to get mine installed. Of course I live in a developing country, were minimum wage is half of what the minimum wage is in the United States.

He probly had to get it custom made, so theres alot more involved then just bolting it on.

It does take the better part of a day to do the install and requires somebody who knows what they are doing. What else went into me deciding to give the guy $1000 total was that after pricing the tops WITH the rear windows, I was getting prices of right at $1000 just for the material! So, $1000 total for me was like a free install

If I installed a top for someone else I didnt know , I would charge easy $500 for labor . There are numerous adjustments to be made , with everything right down to the side windows .

I bought my entire top assembly thru TA creations for $600 . It was the entire top frame and all off a 2002 .
