Angry Convertible top leakage.

OK so my top leaks on the passager side by the window. I compared both sides and it seems the gasket on the passager side is not coming out enough like the one on the drivers side. So instead of covering/overlapping the window it just has a small crack where water gets through. I need to replace my seats but I was going to get some seat overs for the time being but I need to fix this first. I mean should I see if the factory makes a replacement gasket or is their is a way I can adjust the gasket or something. I might have pics of it tomorrow too to see of that helps so I can give a better description of what I'm talking about. Until then any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

here's a story...it may not solve your problem directly, but it DID solve mine. When I first got mine, my top leaked some at the window on the driver's side. One day, my wife fastened the top down closing the latch on the passenger side FIRST...THEN the latch on the driver's side. It didn't leak anymore! My natural instinct when raising the top is to fasten the latch right in front of me on the driver's side, then the passenger side latch. EVERY TIME I do this, it leaks. When I fasten the passenger side latch first...every time...dry as a bone.

Basically...whichever side your fasten first normally....do the other one first next time and see if that helps.
