Conversion of a 94 TA to a 98+ TA

My question is, has anyone done it? I'm guessing that you would need the front bumper fenders and hood and lights, but is there a change in the frame itself in the front to fit the new lights or how the bumper attaches??

That's a real nice write up. I used all that info when I did the conversion.

Does any one know of a similar parts list for a Z-28. I love the appreance of the 98+ but I love my LT1. I knew it was possible to have both but didn't know it was that easy.

Doing that is just plain GAY and a waste of money! Don't make your car into something it's not. 93-97 Trans Am's look better than the new ones anyway.

Is it a waste of money when your f*cking car was stolen and recovered with the whole front end from the windshield forward missing . It was the same cash either way , and if you'd look in here ......most of the guys doing this swap have been into an accident or their car has been stolen .

Your comment on the 93-97 is completely your opinion , so I havent the slightest clue what the hell you wish to accomplish by posting here . Knowing you like that style has just made my entire day

I did it because I got $3000 from my ins. company . People put C5 wheels on T/As and Camaros but NOT to make them look like Corvettes.

Exactly... I did mine because my car was stolen and when recovered the front end was destroyed... I couldve done it the way it was before and saved a little money, but I decided to change it up a little since I had the chance. I just got done yesterday putting on the 98+ front end on my 94 camaro... I think it came out pretty sweet! The hardest part was aligning everything up so that there are no gaps since I didnt really have much help. Damn I wish I would have taken some pictures and made my own write up on the front end conversion for a camaro... I posted a few pics of how my car looks after the conversion in my sig. It hasnt been painted yet, but it just went there this morning and should be back by monday.

Maaco?

Hey Renzor, just wondering if youre going to repaint your front end with Maaco? Post some pics as soon as you get it done!

Yea, I wasnt going to tell anyone because I hate people raggin on me... because there are some people that swear that my car must look like crap in person because I got it done at maaco...Ill always get people posting, "it must have bad orange peel," "I bet there are a dozen imperfections in your paintjob," "give it a year and it will start looking like crap," and comments like that I cant stand... but of course Ill post some pics when I get it back. Ill see if I can borrow my brother digital cam because mine doesnt give as good a resolution as his unless I make the pictures smaller.
