console outta 90 stng to fill btween 97+console and 93-96 dash?
I've seen a guy who took a small sized console out of an early 90's Mustang and put it between his 97+ console and the bottom of his 93-96 dash (or bottom of radio, whatever you wanna call that). Anyone know who that is? Or know of someone who has done this? I just would like to know what year Mustang. Thanks.

I saw that too and asked him about it. He said it was out of a mid 90's Mustang. I ordered a replacement for a '95 Mustang and it worked great. I put it in yesterday. I'll try to get a pic of it today or tomorrow and put it on my site.

Thanks for the info. Another question for ya...where did you get your 97+ console? I took a look at yearone.com and they sell what they call the "97-02 upper console" whatever that is. I guess this question shouldn't be directed to just SuperDave. Where is the best place to buy a 97+ console? Thanks.

Well, I got my 97+ console used from Speed Automotive for $100. That's hard to beat. I got the Mustang console piece for $25 new from Mustang Parts Specialties. If you could find it used, I'm sure it'd be a lot cheaper.
Used is probably cheapest, spend a day at local yards and you can probably come up with both for around 75 bucks.

Alright, I got a hold of a 97+ Camaro console, now I need the small mustang console. SuperDave--you said you got yours from Mustang Parts Specialties...what did they call that part? I looked around the site and didn't find anything. Thanks
