Question Completely black window tint??

Is there any kind of tint that doesn't have another shade to it? For instance, mine has a green tinge to it that you can see in the sunlight. I'm going to get it redone after I get my car painted and I'm going to have a black top. I want my windows to match.

Um... I've never had problems like that with my tint, mine has always been black, pay to get it done right by someone who warrenties their work and get something like 5% and you'll be fine.

Yeah a good tint job should be over $100.

Anything less than that is prolly not the good stuff. Mine was completely black, no blue or green shade to it. Lookin thru it at sunlight it just looked greyed out. I would give u more details but I lost the receipt. It was limo tint tho.

Ditto. I paid 120, and the tint they used was perfect, everything grays. On the other hand, my girl's tint kinda has a blue tint to it, and I paid 150. :shrugs:

Ok, so is this "Onyx" a brand or is it a type of tint called "onyx tint" or what?

Make sure it's an ALL METAL tint. No dyes. Than it should be gray/black and won't ever fade. Brands like Formula One.

No, the stuff that I have is "Onyx" tint, it's the manufacturer of the tint. I got a rearview mirror card when I got my windows done, and I had to send in the bottom part of it with a bunch of info to "Onyx", to get my nationwide warrenty.
