Color Opinions for 2001 SS

Been a long time since I last post, but I'll cut to the chase. I now have a 2001 Black SS. I was hit in the side by a van and it is currently being repaired. It is at a GREAT bodyshop right now and they offered to add the manta style accent to the hood and trunk, free of charge. My question is, anyone have any ideas about what color it should be? Of course there is silver but I want to be a little differant. I saw a pic of a black ss with hugger orange color accent and It looked great. Does anyone have any pics or know where I could see some? I was thinking maybe some shade of blue would look pretty mean. Thanks.

hugger orange would be awesome

i'd go for that... if not.. then .. if you want to be different, dark blue or purple.. or red (less different)

The Hugger Orange would be sweet, I've seen it, very clean. If you want something to stand out, red and white would work, I've seen both, both look good. Or if you want something less noticable, then maybe dark blue or purple, as well as a dark red. Sorry, I don't have any pictures, all the cars I've seen have been here in Houston. Personally, I say go with the Hugger Orange !!

What about you keep it black ond put on red/orange stripes 2002 style?

I think the color black was made for the Camaro. Congrats on the SS, by the way.

EDIT:Check this place out if you want an idea of what percentage people are coloring their camaros.

electron blue, white, or maybe black silver. Black silver was a color made by saturn on there newer cars and I think that may look good because of the silver flake appearance.

Just a thought

"Black Silver" is an actual color or did you mean "black" AND "silver" ?

Thanks for the replies. After checking out that site with the vinyls, I think I'm just going to get it back like it was before and just get one of their kits. The black w/ white 35th Anniversery Stripe package looks awesome. My cars going to be in the shop for another 3 weeks so it won't be for awhile.

I would choose red to match the ss decals that are outlined in red. I think you should match the strips with the decals.
