Its a repost from one of the sema threads in the lounge from a while back. There cool but I believe they were a "gimic" and were not road worthy. I did a bit of research on them when I saw them.

The maintenance on those must not be fun, having to pop off a wheel just to clean off the brake dust.

i duno about on the car... but they look awesome on that motorcycle!!.. but is it just me or does it look like the brakes apply directly to the wheel on that thing?

I dont think brakes are that pretty to look at, especially after couple hundred miles.

Yeah you'd have to run ceramic brake pads to limit the brake dust if you had those wheels, but even then you would still have to deal with road grime. Fine for a bike where it is easier to clean both sides of a wheel, but a car....too much maintenance.

yeah too bad on a bike theyre definately for the cruiser or show crowds, anyone notice the weight of EACH wheel "Weight 20” - 27 lbs, and 22” - 38 lbs (complete wheel weight)"

they are 15,000$ a set for 20" the were first brought out at sema where they sold 10 sets of them at sema and allso took home allmost evey wheel award.
