Question Clear lenses and the cops.

How do the cops react to clear corners without the amber bulbs? I see people runnig around here with the white or colored bulbs and it looks kind of cool. At the same time though I know those setups are illegal. So I was wondering how strict are the cops on this?

Depends on what the cops are like down in Louisiana. They look good, I drive around with my bird front plate cover on and no problems.

In CA you can't have Blue or Red to the front...

But, check this out:

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc24953.htm

24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.
Are they really illegal?
