Re: clear corners

buy an orange bulb... the factory installed bulbs are white, the orange comes from the color of the lens.

If you go with clear lenses and an orange bulb, it will just be an orange spec in the clear lens, won't look right at all. You're not gonna have the bright orange if you swap lenses.

Re: clear corners

well, i've seen them with clears and still have the bright orange lights, just as bright as stock. Is there a brighter burning bulb or something?

Re: clear corners

then of course there is the silverstar turn signal, it looks kind of clear from a distance but close up you can still tell there is an orange tint, or at least i can... they put off a pretty strong orange light though, that may be what you've seen.

Re: clear corners

The clear lenses are have a mirror like material at the rear that reflects light. So if you put in an orange bulb the light is reflected back and fills the whole lense making it look like you are describing. All you need is orange colored bulbs, found at any auto parts store, instead of clear ones and you will get the "bright orange" color you have seen. No special bulb is required.

i was talking about the bulb itself while it was off, instead of having a small orange blip inside the clear corners but even while its off if you look at it very closely and at the right angle the bulb has an orange reflection, when they're on they put off a bright orange color. hope that clears up what i meant, i was way too vague on that one before

Got mine from there. Don't know if they are the cheapest but they are a great place to buy from. They also have a lot of other cool things that you might want to check out.

Re: clear corners

I believe this is the bulb RacingTiger04 was refering to. IMO it looks a lot better than the amber colored light. Ebay is a good place to get the clear corners from. Every where else I've seen them is almost $60, but mine were $13 off ebay.

do you know how the quality of those you listed compares with the ones on the ebay?

Also what are the part numbers for the two lights? turn signal and running light.
