Chrome Valve Covers

Anyone have pics of these on their car. I found a pair made by spectre at autozone. Anyone know about Spectre's quality? Also, it said it fits '87 and up small blocks, so I assume it would fit our cars (just want to make sure).

It's centerbolt, I was just wondering if our cars have anything else special about their valve covers (oil baffles, etc.).

The passenger side cover has a "notch" taken out of it in order to clear the alternator. Unfortunetly this narrows down our options.

There is an Adapter that you can get that converts your car from center bolt to outer bolt Valve covers.
but here is a set of OUter bolts on a Center bolt car.

I found the Adapter Heres what it says.
Trick Flow Valve Cover Adapters for Small Block Chevy

Our valve cover adapters allow you to run early-style valve covers with your late model Chevy’s centerbolt heads. Plus, the adapter gives you the option of running a stud girdle to increase valvetrain stability and improve overall performance. The adapters come with all necessary hardware and gaskets.
Note: Requires narrow-body rocker arms.

Summit racing carries them for $99.95

not if you are willing to raise the Alternator (if you have clearance under the hood) & have someone fab a bracket. Along with this you have to get a smaller fan for the Alternator & rotate it so it will not scrap up your hood.
