Chrome LT1 Valve Covers > Which are best quality?

I have heard that some of the chrome LT1 valve covers leak and are poor quality. I would like to use these along with the black plastic Corvette fuel rail covers on a 95 TA.

Anyone know which valve covers to buy? Would the GM covers be best? Anyone have a P/N?

BTW, if you have a pic of your engine with chrome valve covers, I sure would like to see them.

Thanks,
Ron

I have the chrome GM units w/ the red bowtie on my '94 z28. Will send you pics if interested. Had them on over a year w/ 1.6 RR; never a leak or any other problem. I did have to "modify" the passenger side cover to clear the alternator; no biggie. Hope this helps
