Want a Chrome alternator for my 1995 TA. Any idea who's got the best/cheapest?

I wouldn't buy a case if it were me, but it's your option. It's not the best thing to do when you need a new alternator to have to take two of them apart just so you can have one chrome one.

Just have your stock one polished!! A chrome alternator is like a giant heat sink, trust me. Take it off, take it to an alternator place, have them disassemble it, have it polished, take it back, have them put it back together (and upgrade/fix any problems) it is much cheaper and will last longer.

For a appearance mod chrome alternator looks good. But spend $300. or more I would go with a good polish with the one you have on there they look good to.
