In before all the haters that say "Your Hardtop is rare, you should have just bought a t-top car."

Blah.....Rare means nothing, unless its a 1/1 Inverse 30th ann.

Good luck! When you cut the metal make sure you leave enough in the corners to bend up to finish the weatherstripping channel...

I personally wouldn't do it...I wish my Z28 was a hardtop. Sure the t-tops are nice but the loss of rigidity and the stupid leaks that come and go with them are not worth it in my opinion. Regardless though, good luck.

Surely you covered your interior with a cloth or something right?

Re: Chopping the Hardtop roof off of the Formula today

My DigiCam died so no pics....

BUT! I am done for the most part! The tops are on and look great from he outside. The inside is not 100% together, i need a few random screws and a little more time.I still need to vacum the inside, and 303 the dash and all the plastic/vinyl. I just got tired, its been really hot today and I'm gona relax efore work in the A.M.

It makes the car look so much better! And having a glass roof to look up out of is cool.
