Maybe your thinking of Whistlers car...he didn't chop the roof though, he just converted his T-top into a targa top. Do a search with his name (Whistler) and i'm sure you'll find a pic

It is a Photoshop job...I guess I should have stated that. That's just the only chopped F-Body pic I have ever seen, so I was wondering if that was it.

That'd be kinda nostalgic to have a chop top, but it be an f-body. :P

yeah I really like the way it looks, it adds a sleeker look to the car without a doubt, I don't think it would be overly hard you could drop the windshield a couple inches by lower it on the cowl, we have the room, cut the windows on the side or use some lexan, the rear hatch would need a tray built into the hatch to lower it down, you'd have to work the interior a bit as far as the inner platic went. Since the outer piece is plastic you could just cut the length out of that and the work for the metal of the roof bar wouldn't have to be super pretty or take much skill, widening it to fit the old width would be a pain though.

But yeah you should be able to do it, keep the stock glass, and retain stock angles on everything but the back of the side windows, might even be able to build a different tray for the side windows so you don't have to cut the top and you could just lower it a couple inches inside the door, which is what you would be doing with all the other pieces of glass in the car. Haven't looked at how far down the glass goes into the door or if there is anything below the side glass.

I don't imagine it would be overly complicated, as already mentioned, I would just be worried about retaining height enough for my damn head LOL!!!
