Not sure if you guys know about this. It was new to me. Looks like an Transam LS1 RAM AIR hood. Looks very nice.

 

My brother has the Warbird hood on his TransAm. I didn't know that they came out with this for the Camaro, however. The fit was pretty good, but after my brother got it painted, 2 little bumps came out of the hood right by the hood scoop. You can see pictures of his hood at my website.

The company is legit, but be careful of what happens to the hood after it is painted. I think this hood looks amazing!!! If I didn't recently get the SS hood put on my car, I would probably look into this.

Pretty good on the LS1 camaro

Not so great on the LT1, doesnt seem to flow with the rest of the car, IMO

 

I wish they had a picture of a painted one on an LT1 or at least put the unpainted one on a black car.

 

Actually Jack, that hood that is on the LS1 Sunset Camaro is made by USBody. The hood that is on ebay is made be an entirely different company called USExotics. My brother order his Warbird hood from this company and they are located outside of Pennsylvania I believe. Just wanted to point that out; not trying to be a jerk of any kind. Take it easy.

Maybe its just me, but I think the Warbird hood looks better than the USBody Ram Air II hood for some reason.....plus the Warbird hood has pre-cut scoops....USBody doesn't....maybe thats why.

 

Hey guys..... the 98-up firebird grills fit these camaro hoods too!!

 

It's close enough to get an idea of what it looks like.. Sheesh.

 

98 WS6 hoods look like *** on 93-97 Firebirds and Camaros

98 WS6 hoods look like *** on 98 Camaros

96 WS6 hoods look like *** on 3rd gen Firebirds

96 WS6 hoods look semi OK on 93-97 Camaros

 

I couldn't agree more, except I don't think it looks good on ANY Camaro...

 

Well Skull..... I personally think that the big-block hood (that you happen to have on your car) is pretty hideous... I don't think you could pay me to put that hood on one of my birds......just goes to show ya... I guess opinions vary

 

Really? I think that is a sweet looking hood! I personally love the Predator hood. and the Camaro big block hood the best.

 

That's ok!!! I knew people have poor taste. However, like I said before, my opinion is really not opinion, but rather fact.

 

Looks alright on a LT1 Firebird, but.......... the regular 96-97 WS6 hood looks better cause it flows. I'm not a huge fan of after market hooks on Camaros.
