I'm pretty sure that guy goes under the name dragonz28 on the ls1tech.com message board. I know I've seen badges exactly like that one posted there.

Re: Check this WS6 badge out.

What is a WS9? Isn't a WS7 a TransAm that's basically a cloned WS6?

Damn, that badge is pretty sexy. If I had a WS6, I'd get it.

No idea what a WS9 is, but I'm pretty sure a WS7 is everything a WS6 is but instead of rear disc it has rear drums...

No, WS7 is a cloned WS6, not a real GM code (in this case).

I think WS9 = Formula option package.

Re: Check this WS6 badge out.

Well back in the day of the Bandit Trans Am WS7 was a real option....My uncle used to rock one when he was in high school! I give props to people who actually do the WS7 conversion on their 4th gens and not just put the badge on. Anywho, what does the WS stand for anyways?

Yeah, he's in our car club in Lexington. Owns a badass heads/cam 99 Z28. He makes other badass badges too. Talk to Annihilator at http://www.kyhorsepower.com He goes by dragonz28 on other boards.

Yeah, I thought I remembered that WS7 was a real code at some point, but in this case, WS7 == WS6Clone. I'm quite certain there is/was no stock option package that will get you drum brakes on the back of an LS1 4th gen...

WS stands for...nothing, right? It's just an option code...?

Re: Check this WS6 badge out.

Anyone want to trade for my GM WS6 badge for a WS7 one?
