I never even go to this site, but this is the third time someone I dont even know has put up pics of my car, just to share and tell that they liked it.

Anyone with an LS1 with any skill or knowledge goes to www.LS1tech.com... so this other site is left to the "rest"
These kind of people were the reason a 2nd site was started in the first place. The "AAG" forum in particular seems to attract a "special" kind of enthusiast...... like a big blue bug zapper designed for people who used to ride the short bus to Chuck E Cheese with a $10 bill pinned to their nametag.

i read some of the posts they left about your ride and i was disgusted. Not one of them knows what originality is or means. They all have the same looking, 98-02 f-body and yet they have some audacity to crudly criticize your ride. Its not like you even asked them to evaluate it or anything...i dont know about them but i think your camaro is one of the cleanest and most original to date. Plus i still don't see how they can talk **** about the carbon fiber hood and the rims which are both top notch...let alone the targa top. Its obvious these people are just green with envy..

I'm with nickz95camaro, that's one sweet Z. I love the targa!!! The wheels aren't my style but I'm not about to put someone down because they have different tastes than me. What losers. Keep up the good work.

Oh ya, do you have any pics of what the Targa top looks like on the car from the inside and off the car?

 

Hey Whistler, don't let those idiots get you down. Especially the moron that said that since ricers have carbon fiber, carbon fiber equals rice. With that kind of stupid logic, any Z28 thats turbo'ed or dropped with plus sized rims or with race seats for that matter would also be rice.

I signed up over there a year or so ago and only browsed the boards for an hour max. Doesn't seem to be quite as friendly as this site Seem's to be full of some pretty arrogant people but thats just my opinion of course.

I recall one guy getting BANNED from that site because he said something negative about it on THIS site. Kind of childish I do believe

I enjoy LS1Tech also, its another great site like this one to learn something new.

I noticed your tail lights were completely red. How did you do that?

Your Z is definatly the best I have seen.

Heck they obviously aren't too bright on even their own cars becuase they didn't even notice the majority of just your exterior mods.

Didn't see the headlights obviously.
Some how missed that your side marker lights were sprayed the same color as your all red tail lights. (as was missed on this board too or just not mentioned )

Just happened to miss that you have no door locks.(which means that to not make one h*** of a lot of noise if someone were to attempt to take your car that it would be very time consuming to even get the doors open let alone tear out the complete interior to find your lo-jack so that puts to shame their argument of not having that sticker which as I would see would be very theft-deterent esp. after they seen you have no door locks on the outside so they can't jimmy that cross bar going to the lock to open it realitively fast.)
(Btw that was missed/not mentioned here too)

And forgot to mention that you have no 3rd brake light on that wing.

And those were just the exterior ones they missed.

Even though no interior pics were posted on that site, They should have been able to easily tell about your custom headliner. (Which I'll be trying to replicate in a few short weeks )


Now that I got your attention I would just like to ask you a few questions please.

I assume that for the front piece of the headliner you can just use one from a convertible one right? (Dont really know because I've never seen one in person.)

Any tips on where to mount those "statigic braces" that you welded in?

And lastly, on your lights, did you take them apart and spray them from the inside or just cover the outside?...We (me and my dad) did his pt ones over a year or so ago but we just sprayed them on the outside, wet sanded them, and toped them of with clear coat, except on them we couldn't get out all the little nicks and such but on your car I can't even find one. Yeah even though the pics are farther out but I still didn't see any. DO you have any up close to one or sumthing?

And lastly, the only thing that I WOULD change about your car is the rear mounts for the targa. Just kinda wondering why they weren't caped of with the interior pieces for the t-tops? I would assume that maybe the Cf targa was just a tad long but with the way you've done your car and posts on this board, you just seem to me the type of person that wouldn't settle for just leaving them off. Anyways those just bother me,

Love the CF, and how is CF rice? and the one dewd said itll look good when you paint the hood? wtf? its a CF hood why the helll would u paint it?
