Re: check out my new valve covers

You say you love them but you also posted that they don't clear your rocker arms. And what about alternator clearance? Are they SBC covers or LT1?

I love the way they look, but your right they dont clear my rocker arms. I found a spacer to make them work. and I relocated my alternator to the bottom, under my intake.

Re: check out my new valve covers

lots of work just for some valve covers! they seem to be LT1 Valve Covers....the way to notice that is by the 4 bolts in the mid section of the cover! Unless he drilled soem holes in SBC Covers. Looks nice tho!

Ummm, I believe all late model SBCs have centerbolt valve covers. Even some of the LS1s had centerbolt valve covers.

Re: check out my new valve covers

thanks, those are perdrilled centerbolt edelbrock valve covers. I know it's alot of work relocating the alternator but I had to clear my rr, and I wanted to be different as well. I havn't seen these before on any LT1.

Re: check out my new valve covers

how did you relocate the alternator? Parts, write ups, etc? You would also need a new different sized belt, right? Any pics of that setup?
