Awesome looking car and the flames are bad @ss. Nicely lowered and the Z06 type mags look killer. Now if you don't want to mod the engine I suggest you at least put a killer sound system in your baby.

 

the wheels are not mine im jsut borrowing them till i get my Bonspeed Intense 5 wheels in (19x8 and 20x10)
the ZO6's are 18x9 and 20x11

the motor has FTRA, hooker Lt's,mufflex Y,and B&B triflo
more to come like 4.10's

LT1 tail lamps on a LS1, cool, thats different. Those Bonspeeds look sick, were do you buy them from? The car looks really good, I always like convertible fourth gens.

i ordered the wheels from Sk performance
the wheels take about 4-8 weeks to build so i should have them in a week or two

the paint job only cost me $600
for a full repaint in the factory NBM with alot more metal flake and the flames

Very nice, i definatly like the flames. thats one of the best flame jobs i've seen on a new firebird.

After having a 99 with honeycomb tails and making my LT1s clear. I really like the clean look of the LT1 tails better. Especially on my silver car with clear lights. Only thing i wouldn't have done is paint the gas cover, but thats just me.

How bout putting the mecham spoiler on it like i have on my car. I think that would look killer with a larger one.

I like the rear bumper, going with the CE TA style. I am actually going to be doing the same thing to my rear bumper here in a month or so.
I have some hit-and-run damage (car was parked) on my driver's side quarter and also on my front bumper that will be repaired soon, and I am going to do the lower section of the bumper silver, with reflective silver PONTIAC or polished stainless.

the fit on the spoiler. WELL, i'd never buy one again if i needed to. Mecham did a poor job on it. I had to send the first one back because it was badly damaged, poorly shipped. I love the look but it was very costly to get there, as you can see i ran out of money so it hasn't been painted yet. Its a slip over the original spoiler, so it needs lots of body work to get it to look right. This added LOTS of weight. Mecham should have just made an entire deck which seems far more logical to me. I think the spoiler was close to 650 with shipping, about 500 to get installed, i attempted it myself but i found out i suck at body work because i'm too impatient. few hundred to get painted good. If i were to do it again, i would have figured out a way to have a long light strip across the whole lenght of the spoiler kinda like the firehawk got.

 

So what about the Lt1 taillights?

 

Car looks awesome overall. The only thing I don't like is the bumper and the gas door should match the paint... Ever think about getting that gas door anodized?
