Cheap @#% sunvisor

Any of you guys come up with any ingenious ideas about the little elastic strips of cloth that are attached to the sunvisors, mine are so streched out they hang about 3 inches . I just tuck them into my flip-up mirrors now.

I never used mine, so they aren't stretched out, but on my sister '95 Tahoe, we just cut them off and along the stiching.
They're pretty useless anyway.

even though i dont ever use the straps i didnt decide to cut mine off. mine looked pretty bad as well but i just deteached it and sewed it back on so that the elastic was tight again and the just cut off the ends. used a lighter to get rid of the extra twine. wasnt hard. took me maybe 20min total.

I've been tucking mine in forever, and it is a pain. I keep meaning to cut them off, but never have scissors available when I think of it.

I used a knife.
The hard part is getting the strap out from under the threads with out tearing the threads up.
