What about this one:

http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/appea...luechrome2.JPG

Height comparable to your old spoiler, but minus the "Commando" look....

BTW, nice wheels you've got there!

IMO, when you use that spoiler, you MUST have ground effects. I have that spoiler and don't care for it at all on cars that don't have ground effects. However, I like it on my car... I think it balances out my subtle hood and more aggressive looking ground effects.

After, If it were me id sell the commando and get an SS. I havent seen anything I like besides the SS yet. Id like a more agressive spoiler too, but most of the bigger ones just dont look right to me.

Aaaah. Well in that case, you need something other than stock.

Thank your for taking that giant wing off. If I were you I'd leave the stock spoiler on and spend my money on a billet grill.

Well, I just don't know what to do.
I have a great deal on a GM Factory SS spoiler but I think I am going to pass on it right now. I just can not decide which way to go. I have had a couple of votes for this one:

http://www.lmperformance.com/832/17.html

and also found this one that looks the same but is cheaper.

http://www.lmperformance.com/3139/17.html

Anybody have any experience with Freedom Design?

I hate to leave this guy hanging that has the SS spoiler after telling him I would take it, but I am just afraid it will not be the "look" that I want. I like over the top!! It's just me. If anybody wants a facotry SS spoiler for aftermarket price let me know. I will point you too the guy that has it!!

I am looking to do the same thing as you and want to know if the cheaper wing is about the same. Your in CLT right? Where do you get your stuff painted at and about how much do you pay? I havent been here long and do not know where to go to get anything painted.

I've never seen it on a car w/o ground effects, but I'd bet you're probably right. It's pretty big.

I live right outside of Charlotte. I get my stuff painted by one of the people in my church that owns a body shop. He usually hooks me up on paint work. Its KC Starnes and Sons, but if you go to the south eastern section, there was a thread asking for good paint people in the area. There are a couple of good responses in there.
