I want to install a white shifter overlay on my Trans Am. Does anyone know how to remove the center console to get under the plastic piece, so that I can install the overaly. And, does anyone know how hard it is and how long it might take?

 

Youll have to remove the shift ****, just remove the small c clip on the handle and goes right off. and it makes it easier if you put it in 3rd.

 

I changed my shifter to a round billet one from MBA, so it comes off really easy. Once the shift **** is off, how hard is it for the console to come off? Does it just pull off?

 

Just pull it off.
