i'm dying my carpet from brown to black and I was wondering what kind of carpet dye i should use and where can i get it? I know that VHT makes a spray dye but i heard that it wears out sometimes, plus to dye the whole carpet would take alot of cans.

 

dying anything in the car could get ugly real quick. I would look for a carpet used from a parts car or do a search. theres a lot of good carpet companies now and price is that much. Theres one on the sponsors section on camaroz28

 

I saw the sponsors carpet, he wants $299 which is alittle much for me right now. Also the carpet would be out of the car so it would be easier and not as messy. Thanks for the reply though!

The pics in my sig of my interior were done with the spray cans of dye that you can get at Autozone.When I first dyed them they were stiff,but they have softened up to stock after a few weeks of sitting on them.They haven't faded yet at all.If you do try it then pull everything out of the car and pull the carpet out also.Good luck.
