Carpet after Roll Cage install?

I was wondering what you cage guys did with the hole in the carpet that is around the bars? I show my car and race it and I want to do something around the hole for the bar. I was thinking about putting a door guard around it or something. I am in the middle of painting the cage right now and everyhthing looks good expect the cut carpet. It needs an edging or something. Any ideas or pics would be great.

thanks, Joe

1. DUCT TAPE!
2. Aluminium carpet edging polished or you can paint it
3. Leave it alone

You are talking about where you had to cut a line up to the support bars to wrap the carpet around it correct?

I just thought of another; velcro on both the carpet and floor and you can rip it back out whenever the need arises.

I'm not talking about the line cut to the bars I am talking about area cut around the bar on the floor. It would be a circle.
