Let's try this again....considering it was on the 4th page of the Lounge after not even 24 hours, with only 4 responses (2 of those being mine) I figured I'd post it here......


Well, I didn't win anything......there were some really cool cars there though, more than I thought would show up. There was like a people's choice category, each person who registered a car got a ballot that had five spots on it and you had to go around and basically "judge" by yourself and pick your top five......a few that I picked actually won...I don't know how many people's choice awards went out, but it was a large amount.....all the numbers around me won, but of course I didn't.

What really bugged me was these three guys and a girl came in together, one guy had a yellow '99-'04 Mustang with a turbo on it, the girl had an LS1 Firehawk, and the other guys had riced-up Civics....all four of them won.....

Mine was the only 4th gen Camaro there.....there were two first-gens and one second-gen......I honestly thought I had one of the nicer 'new' cars there.....probably just as nice as that Firehawk, but I guess you really can't compare the two.

But, it was cool seeing all the nice cars.....some sweet Corvettes, a '63 427/435....a C5 that was all customized by the lady that owned it......two '69 Camaros that were pretty much race cars.....also, the black '69 Mustang is my boss's car.

But you'll see in the pics. I also took some at my house of my car and my boy's cammed '95 Mustang GT.......those pics are in the other album at the top of the page....

What rims do you have? Those are pretty different, never seen them before.

Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, I had a good time, even though I didn't win anything. My rims are ROH ZR6's, they're actually from 1994 cuz my brother-in-law had them on his old '94 when he first got it. I got them for free from him.

 

Looks like fun, I love car shows... Can't wait to put my car in one.


The whole off roading through a field thing doesn't look so cool though. Luckily the side pipes on this Cobra didn't spark a vegetation fire and burn down a few dozen cars.

Oh, well, I guess it wasn't as high as it looked......there weren't any problems...

 

Luckily. Imagine what kind of chaos there would have been if 15 minutes into the show the field was suddenly ablaze...

Imagine holding your finger up to a set of hot long tubes on a car that was just driven 45 minutes to the show. Now imagine your finger is dry brush.

But anyway, enough off topic stuff. Looked like a nice show. Some nice cars were there.
