what color do you guys think I should paint my 93 Z28? I'm looking to use a factory color but can be from any make. right now its that off ugly gray/purple color.

 

I love purple pearl! It's such a random color combo... But as far as new colors are concerned, what about sunset orange metallic (with black headlight pockets and grille of course)? That would look good, imo.

my car will be getting repainted this spring. it is already white so the color i'm going with wont' requre me to do the door jambs and all of that, cuz those would only get the white basecoat anyways.. i'm going with cadillacs 'white diamond'. jsut love that color on the escalades!!!

guess that doens't help you much though. are you planning on stripping the car and doing everything or jsut something close to what you have so you only have to do the outside?? i'm sure you know that makes a big difference in price and time.

Personally I think black looks the meanest, but I like yellow too.

 

I have had about every color of car and the darker you go the easier they show dirt. my white car can be filty but still look pretty good, but my black jeep looks filthy even after comming right out of the car wash!!

 

Pick up a copy of GM High Tech Peformence
The ZL1 on the cover is Daytona Yellow

Its the same color they used on 60's Chevelles, El Camino's and Camaros.

You'll really stand out then

 

I think I'll stay with a purple color but beter purple than OEM, I seen a 97 that had the big block in it some ware on the web that had a nice purple color. corvete yellow would be good to

 

Go for Corvette Millenium Yellow. I have yet to see it on an LT1

 

I could totaly be wrong but I think it was brent94Z that did his that color and had a good writeup about it also.....with pictures of before, during and after. cr looked sweet as hell!!!
