car cover

Im looking for a cheap car cover for my 96 z28. I would rather have one made specifically for my car. but, the only ones i could find were $150. Anyone know where i can get a good cover for less than that? Thanks.

use a big blanket....cause its near impossible to find a custom car cover for under that price.....unless you find one used....

yeah, check on ebay or if your like me, only looking for one to keep the sun off, you can just get the cheap $30 ones, they fit pretty well, and they keep the sun off, which was all i wanted, i couldn't justify why i would need a $150 cover to protect it and then go though all the frustation of cleaning up a cover that was wet from sitting in the rain and putting it away and all that, the cheap one is just as good to me. now if you have a car that's sitting for a long peroid of time then i could justify the good one but my car is driven almost everyday so that is not the case. I also like the cheap one because its light weight and only takes a few seconds to put away.

I bought mine at Lordco a few years ago......as I recall it was around $80..........
If the reason for a cover is solely to keep dust off your car.........just use a bed sheet. As long as you have access to a garage.......it would tend to blow off pretty fast outside I guess......

The reason that i need a cover is that i dont have access to a garage. My mom refuses to keep one of her cars outside.

What if you just bought a huge or a couple of big tarps and covered your car with those...or heavy duty blankets would work as well

Nope - Tarps are no good....they don't breathe, it would get real humid under the tarp on sunny days........making for rust.
A sheet will breathe but........won't keep your car dry.
Car cover is the only way to go if it's outside, needs to breathe and stay dry.

Tarps

Try throwing a tarp over a nice paint job with those sewn-in metal rings! Yeah...I don't think so.
