It came from a trans am, it's in my camaro now. It's very dark, but not fully black.

Not sure if its ebony, charcoal, or whatever other color names were out there.

What colors were available in trans ams during the lt1 years that would be near black?

I need to replace the front seats or at least the covers, but have to figure out which color I am looking at before I can search.

Man... I wish I could answer your question better, but I don't have the research done on that stuff.

It should be graphite I think. I don't believe ebony replaced it until about the year 2000.

Ebony is ever so slightly brown compared to the graphite color. But I'm not positive the SEATS were referred to as graphite, just the carpet. They might be charcoal.

I believe the seats would also be called graphite...thats what I have in my 95
