Can't Keep Rims From Oxidising Help?
I have ROH 1994 Firehawk wheels on my car, I had a guy polish the outside trim back to chrome but he didn't clear coat them, said you don't need to!
Now everytime I wash the car or get a small amount of water on them, they like oxidize, and there's spots all over them, then you have to get out the chrome polish again.
What can I do to stop this?
Thanks

try putting some kind of wax on them after you polish them. dont know if this would work on your rims but i found spraying them with some kind of tire shine like eagle one, and then wiping it off keeps the brake dust from sticking so maybe it'll help with the oxidizing.

I would try clear coating them, Honesty i would take them back to the dork who said they didn't need it because he told you wrong for some reason beyond me, i don't know why he would tell you that unless he just doesn't have any common sense.
