I REALLY need an alarm. I bought my car, and within the first 2 months, I had been hit twise and keyed once (I have limited-full coverage that covers everything BUT hit and runs!!) and they were all hit and runs when I was at work. I don't have power anything and you need power locks for an alarm (thats what I was told atleast). Is there a kit that I can buy that gives me power locks (I'm not worried about the mirrors or windows, although power windows would be a bonus)? I was thinking about going to a junk yard, putting my car next to a wrecked z28 and just taking the guts out of their doors, and putting them in mine. Would that work? If you have any suggestions, I'd like to hear them.

 

Not sure if you can do this or not but it would take all damn day, anything is possible tho

 

i got a friend to do mine.i didnt take him long at all.all i had to buy was the selanoid things that wernt that much and put them on my alarm and he cut and fabed the rods to work.so when i unarm it the power lock ingage off and same with arm, it locks.keyless entry

 

Could I use this kit and just buy the little panel that goes on your door w/ the lock and unlock buttons on it? Would this kit work, or is there a different kit I should buy? I've been looking everywhere and I can't find any other kits.
