Can I dye black leather red?

Can I dye black leather red?
Stupid question but I was thinking about dying the leather on the door red like the 30th anivery edition has. If you can do it with black leather what kind of dye should i use?

what you should do is just sell me the seats and go buy some red leather ones.
but if you want to dye them you need to first do a coat of white, then red so the red isnt so dark.
