I founda very nice z-28 but my only gripe is that it doesn't have ttops. While not a big deal, I was wondering how much trouble it would be to install them and how much will i end up spending. I have a dremel and some other tools and have cut a lot of metal before. Would it just be a matter of getting the seals, windows, mounts, and latches, and then cutting the roof and installing them. Also, would anyone recommend against doing this? I live in michigan and the weather usually is rainy or cold so I probably wouldnt take them out but I really do enjoy an overhead view.

Also, the car's tint has some bubbles in it. Is it hard to remove tint or can i just peel it off and clean the window? I probably would keep the tint off for a while and may get it redone professionally.

I am getting this car cheap so I really dont mind its downfalls. The car also needs a new seal on the rear window. How much trouble would that be to do?

yes you can do a ttop conversion, and if the bubbling you have is on the dot matrix at the top of the rear window thats normal too, because of the stupid dot matrix. I just got my rear window done and i have it

 

Yeah that is where the bubbling is. Its at the top of the window and there are a lot of small bubbles in a pattern. Its not very noticable but I'd rather have it look good.
