i would like to fabricate a camera mount for my video camera someplace in my car so that it points out the front, I was thinking about mounting it to the back of the back seat on the guides for the seat belts back there, anyone ever do this?

I have access to all the pipes and sheet metal i need and also a welder

 

Rksport sells a camera mount for thier rollcages. I'm sure you could pick one of them up then run a bar whereever you wanted it to be and set it up. Doesn't seem to be that hand at all. Later
